About Us

Near North Business Machines was begun in August 1994 by Al Dobson and Stuart Cameron, both certified service technicians. Near North Business Machines was built on service and service continues to be our top priority today. 

We believe in training / educating our staff to be able to assist our customers in making the right choices. We are the local authorized dealer for Sharp, Panasonic and Hewlett Packard, carrying a full line of fax machines, copiers and printers. 

In 1997, we expanded our showroom to a full retail outlet offering our customers, "the Total Office Solution". Customers have the opportunity to shop in our store with a wide variety of office supplies, equipment and furniture.

In 1999, we expanded once again, this time, our service department. We service everything and anything. Our slogan is, "We service what we sell and others as well."

Near North Business Machines has grown from working out of a basement into a full showroom with three certified service technicians, a Microsoft Certified Network Specialist, three Customers Service Representatives and two Sales Representatives.
